sometime last week, my mother asked me if i wanted to go to this artisan bread baking class with her. it sounded interesting, and it was free, so i said yeah. she told me it was tonight (wednesday). then this morning she comes and tells me "that class was last night! we missed it!" so much for honing our bread making skills.
... morelast night she showed me a pamphlet on some cooking classes. one focuses on vietnamese food, and the other on chinese food. they are also free, but you have to call & register as they limit the classes to 25 students. she said she'd call today and see if we can go to one or both of them. i'd love to go to both, but i'll be really excited if we get into the vietnamese food one.
i didn't go to hockey last night, but read in the paper this morning that we were down 4-0 going in to the 3rd period. we then managed to score four - the last one being a power-play goal with just 4 seconds left - and the game ended in a tie. haha, stupid wolves! i really should have gone to hockey.
don't you just love the way i talk about 'hockey' like a big dummy? i never go to hockey games, i go to hockey. i know why i started that, though. once, when i was at a game with david, there was a little boy in front of us. he wasn't really paying much attention to the game, but he would get excited when the players would hit the boards near us. each time after that would happen, he'd be very into the game for a few minutes and would start yelling "go hockey!" so like, he wasn't actually rooting for any particular team, it was if he was just rooting for the sport in general.
my brother & i watched part of the warriors last night. can you dig it? my mother could not dig it, so she switched it to larry king. poo.
