friday i babysat rob's kitten. i can't believe i had that kitten over here being cute all day and i didn't take a picture of him. i don't know what's wrong with me. we had lots of fun playing and napping. he also made friends with ms. zira, and found her cage to be the most fun place because she has so many toys. kitty's name is asphyxiation, which was already given to him before he came to live with rob. rob decided it was a fitting name, though, so he kept it. when i stayed at rob's last week, i missed my cats and my bunny. now that i'm home with all of my babies, i miss his kitty.

also on friday, rob got some free astros tickets through work. my dad didn't feel like going, so my mom, rob & i went. they were really nice seats. astros lost 8-0. ha! i don't know why every time i go to see the astros, i just want to root against them. i used to like baseball more than i do now. i guess after that whole stupid little strike they had back in ... what? '95? ... oh who cares. after that and my discovery of hockey, i guess baseball just became pretty boring. here's a better strike, although it would be nice if fans would strike for the whole damn season. how about for the rest of time?

mr. bonds says the fans will be back. Bonds was asked whether baseball fans would be able to side with the players, considering the average salary is now $2.4 million. "It's not my fault you don't play baseball," Bonds told The Post. "It's not our fault you're not an actor or Bill Gates or anybody else. Nobody is complaining about their salaries, or the owners' salaries. So don't complain about ours. We have the right to make it." oh, shut up mr. i-am-not-really-important-but-still-make-millions baseball player. actually, i have complained several times about actors' and bill gates' salaries. you all suck. i guess it's the socialist in me. i freaking hate football, yet i am paying for this bullshit. i also hate basketball, but am paying for this bullshit, too. they want to get NHL here. if we lose our minor league hockey here and somehow manage to get NHL, that would suck so very much, and that's really all i have to say about that. it will suck for me, anyway. there's plenty of people in this city who don't mind paying upwards of $50 to go see major league sports.
