rob came over after work tonight so that we could try to decipher his new insurance plan. sheesh. it's a weird one, that's for sure. i decided to cook dinner, so i made pizza and salad. it was all yummy. the only thing i changed on the recipes was that i decided since i was supposed to roast the garlic and the onions anyway, i might as well roast the pepper myself, too, instead of buying some in the jar. i did all that last night so that all we had to do today was assemble the thing and bake it. it was good, good, good. i actually had fun cooking, too, which i don't usually enjoy all that much. rob is a much better cook than i am, anyway. he can just go in the kitchen, throw some stuff together, and it's all yummy. i pretty much always need a recipe to follow.

... morethere was a bit about this in the paper today and some preacher guy was on with something like "liberals need to quit trying to force their views upon us." huh? nobody is forcing this moron to read the book (he probably hasn't, anyway). he & his buddies are the ones trying to do the forcing. "i say it's bad, therefore you cannot read it!"
i know that i shouldn't laugh at people that have problems, but ha ha ha! that whole family is just screwed up. Governor Jeb Bush said he would not discuss his daughter's situation. "This is a private issue as it relates to my daughter and myself and my wife," he said. wouldn't it be great if all the people in our country that get busted for addiction related crimes could be treated the way his daughter is being treated? 'please respect our privacy' oh, shut up, you!
of course we remember. how could we ever forget? dubya, please don't get us all blown up. i shouldn't be making jokes while talking about this subject, but if i can't laugh, i'm ruined. earlier tonight, my mother was talking to rob & i about her day at work. apparently her boss gets email alerts when there's 'breaking' news. "yeah, she got her email saying we're under agent orange or whatever." god bless my mom.
